Piper Wig - Illuminaughty Rooted

This was a risk for me. I was very unsure about this white color- would it wash me out? But with the warm root, it works! Like my other Piper in Indigo Swirl, I need some makeup to ‘lift the look’, but I can keep it very natural. The wig is soft, light, bouncy, and not too full. It has just the right amount of permatease for lift. Now, the part takes some work to get in the right spot and to make it look more realistic, but this wig does what it’s told. A little heat (I took some scissors to it, too) and gentle coaxing, and it moves into a very flattering shape. Not much to do! I may cut more eventually to make it more edgy and asymmetric.
The cap is black, which at first seemed like a drawback, but now I think it adds some dimension, darker root look at the nape where it’s short. There was very little shedding.
I am VERY picky about whether a wig looks natural so I spend a lot of time getting it ‘right’ before I wear it out. I have had SO many compliments on all 4 wigs I’ve purchased here. None of the wigs pass as ‘my’ hair but really I don’t care about that- they just need to look like it could be.:) For the price point, you cannot beat the quality and costumer service here.

I love the color of this Piper.

I love Piper…I usually trim fringe/bangs into mine but since she is made with heat friendly fibers I decided to curl her with my curling iron ( I have another Illuminaughty-R one that is uncurled so I can switch back and forth😏) I think she looks adorable and these curls won’t wash out or droop in humid weather. This color Illuminaughty-R is a beautiful platinum with a very light root..it’s a dark ash blonde/ light natural brown root. I normally wear warmer colors but the slight warmth of this root makes her very wearable. Piper is one of my favorites from the CysterWigs Limited collection and I look forward to purchasing more. She fits average so I take in the nape adjusters and she fits fine on my smaller head. I can’t say enough about this style I highly recommend Piper. 👏🏻

This is my third Piper, I believe. Which means I must like her, eh? And with this one I'm really trying to not cut fringe or at least, not much. I love her style but the way her wefts are sewn in she just falls straight into my face. I tried hot brush and it didn't help at all but did help camouflage the permatease. :-)
I am now working with hair spray to see how that goes.
I'm am surprised at how much I love this color. I don't usually feel comfy with cool tones. But because she has warm roots it makes her much more neutral. So it's a lovely change for from all my warm colors.
I really do love her. This type Bob always looks good on me. I do so wish I didn't have to work so hard to get it out of my face tho.
