Also called "invisible layers," this is a hair cutting technique where a straight razor is used to subtly thin out the hair, particularly the underlayers, for a soft, natural look. Our Bardot wig uses this technique as well as "shattered" texture in the upper layers. Shattered texture is another razor-cut technique, wherein a straight razor is used to chip into the hair and create irregular edges. (Shattered texture is the opposite of a blunt cut edge, which is a scissor-cut technique that generates a very sharp, perfectly straight edge.)
