Q: What's the difference between a monofilment part and a fabric skin part?

Monofilament is a sheer mesh into which individual fibers are woven one by one. It's meant to approximate the appearance of hair growing out of your head by allowing your own scalp to show through the sheer portion. A fabric skin part is also meant to approximate the appearance of hair growing out of a scalp by utilizing a soft piece of fabric instead of the sheer mesh. Monofilament features can sometimes feel scratchy for people with very sensitive skin. A fabric skin part can give you the same basic effect without the skin irritation.
