Q: Will wind affect my wig?

Wind can cause the individual fibers to sort of bang against each other which can cause static build up. Static electricity is the enemy of all synthetic wigs, and can cause tangling. If you're going to be out in the wind, you could tie a silk scarf around your head to reduce the amount of friction. Utilizing a wig-safe silicone product can also help protect the fibers from damage.
