Our Vaughn wig was created in Athens, GA -- home of alternative rock and the UGA Bulldogs (GO DAWGS). Needless to say, this style is right at home in our grunge rock-inspired Nirvana Blonde Rooted.
Q: What makes a wig stay on?
That depends on the wig and how much biohair you have. Medical wigs, for example, rely predominantly on the fit of the wig to help keep the wig in place. (This is why most medical wigs fit very tightly.) This strategy won't be enough for you if you have a lot of hair under your cap or if the wig doesn't fit properly. Your best bet, in any case, is to make sure that your wigs fit as close to your scalp as possible, taking your biohair into consideration. If you have long biohair, consider braiding it. The goal is to get your hair to lie as flat as possible against your head for a close fit. You may want to try adhesive, clips, combs, Got2B Glued, toupee tape, or wig grips -- but we advise making sure the wig fits first before start dabbling in the adhesives. You will always get better results that way!
