Q: Why does Beach House Rooted look so different on shorter styles than long ones?
Wig colors can change depending on the length of the hair. This effect is most dramatic on tipped colors. It makes sense, if you think about it. The transition from one shade to another on tipped hair colors is generally determined by a ratio when the hair color is being formulated. For example, the transition on Beach House Rooted begins about 2/3 of the way down the hair shaft. That ratio remains static, regardless of how long or short the hair is. Because of this, tipped colors will look significantly lighter on shorter hairstyles and the transition will look more dramatic on longer ones.
